第一、she 和he 的特殊用法。1、she 除了指女性外。可以用来代表国家、船只、汽车、大地、月亮等自然界的东西。含褒义的感情色彩。例如(1) China will always do what she has promised to do. 中国一直会按照自己的承诺去做事。(2)Nice car ——how much did she cost? 多漂亮的车，多少钱?(3)The moon is shinning brightly tonight, She is like a round silver plate. 今夜皓月当空，她看起来就像一只银色的圆盘。(4)A ship is coming to us, She is very big and beautiful. 一只轮船向我们开来，她又大又美。
第二、男人常用she /her 代替自己的爱车、宠物等；女人则常用he /his 代替。例如：(1)——Your car looks beautiful.when did you buy it? ——I thought her a week ago. (her 代替爱车)(2)Would you please take care of my little pet dog? She needs good care. (She 代替宠物狗) (3)My car still runs perfectly. He has been working for me six years. 我的车仍然运行良好，他已经为我服务六年了。(He 代替爱车)
第三、在诗歌、寓言、故事中常把动物人格化，可爱、美丽、温柔、善良的动物(例如：熊猫、鹿、小鸟、猫等)常用she 来代替；凶猛、粗野的动物(如老虎、狮子、狼、熊、象、狐狸等)常用he 来代替。例如：(1)Panda PanPan is a new member of the zoo. She needs time to get used to the new life. 熊猫盼盼是动物园里的新成员，她需要时间来适应新生活。(2)Would you please feed the parrot? She is very hungry now. 请你喂这只鹦鹉好吗？她现在很饿。（3)The elephant is proud of himself. for he has a big and strong body. 大象以他自己强壮的身体而自豪。（himself 和he 指代大象) （4)The fierce tiger came at the money while the monkey quickly escaped him into the thick trees. 那只凶猛的老虎向猴子扑来，而猴子迅速逃进密林。（him 代替老虎)
