time is money
“一寸光阴一寸金”最简单粗暴的翻译就是“time is money”,即：时间就是金钱。

time flies
中文里要形容时间瞬间即逝，我们会说它是“飞”一般速度，英文中也有相同的表达“time flies”，完整的感叹表达为：How time flies(时间飞逝)。
［例］：Time flies when you’re having fun.（当你玩得开心，时间飞逝。）

behind the times
“behind the time”和\"behind the times\"是不同的概念。“behind the time”是迟到，误时的意思,比如说：This plane is behind time.（这个航班晚点了。）；而“behind the times”则是过时，跟不上时代的意思。
［例］：I’m really behind the times.（我真的是与时代脱节了。）

around the clock
around是围绕，而clock是时钟，围绕着时钟的意思就是夜以继日的做一件事情，就像时钟一样连轴转，不曾停息。
［例］：He works around the clock.（他通宵达旦地工作。）

better late than never
“better later than never”原句为“late is better than never”，意思是迟到做总比没有做好，即亡羊补牢为时不晚。
［例］：Better later than never, but better never later.（迟到总比不到好，但是最好永远不要迟到！）
