amused(amused和amusing)

A:My God, the queen is pregnant. Who did it?

B:The queen is NOT amused.

amused: adj.

Eg: Ellen seemed amused by the whole situation.

Ellen

amusing: adj.

Eg: The book is full of amusing stories about his childhood.

Eg: I couldn’t believe he told a dirty joke in front of those ladies.

I was NOT amused.

“So you think you can get back any time of night and get away with it? Well, young lady, we are not amused, and we’ll talk about this in the morning.”

“I know you worked on it and put some effort into it, but I am not amused. Your essay is mediocre(平庸的/一般的) at best. I need something better, more closer to my expectations.”

“When the principal told me that I had to safeguard our school for one day during the summer vacation, I was not amused.
