The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources (MAFWR) has announced that the lobster fishing season for 2022 will start on March 1 in Dhofar, Al Wusta and South Sharqiyah. The lobster fishing season is important for many fishermen in these governorates.
阿曼农业渔业水资源部说道：“该部呼吁所有渔民、公司还有个人注册他们在捕捞季过程中捕捉到的龙虾。禁止任何个人或组织在龙虾季结束后贸易或者出口龙虾，除非已经在该部委注册。”
“The ministry calls all fishermen, companies and individuals to register their lobster catch during the fishing season. No individual or organisation is allowed to trade in or export lobster after the end of the season unless registered with the ministry,” an MAFWR official said.
“阿曼的龙虾捕捞季从3月1日开始，持续至5月31日。因本国和国际市场对龙虾需求量的上升以及龙虾本身的高价值，龙虾成了一项主要的海洋资源。我们开展了好几次课程，传输给本地传统渔民保护这些天然资源的法律法规和方法。”
“The lobster fishing season in the sultanate is from March 1 to May 31. Lobster is an important marine resource due to its high value and increasing demand in local and international markets. We have conducted several lectures and programmes for artisanal fishermen to educate them on the laws and regulations and ways to preserve this natural resource. “
根据官方消息，阿曼农业渔业水资源部确保了渔民遵循龙虾季并且遵循禁渔期的规定，每年的5月至第二年的2月是龙虾捕捞禁渔期，也是这种甲壳纲动物的产产卵和繁殖期。
According to the official, the ministry ensures fishermen follow the lobster season and obey the fishing ban during the crustaceans’ fertilisation and breeding period from May to February each year.
阿曼农业渔业水资源部的统计数据显示，在2020年捕捞季共捕获龙虾950吨，价值410万阿曼里亚尔（约6726.706万人民币）。阿曼本国消费了597吨，其余的353吨用于出口。
Statistics of MAFWR show that the sultanate’s lobster catch in the 2020 season yielded 950 tonnes worth RO4.1mn. Domestic consumption accounted for 597 tonnes, and the remaining 353 tonnes were exported.
除了大龙虾外，阿曼的鲍鱼养殖行业也非常火爆，其中以黄金鲍为主。
