这两个词可以用于理科、文科、作文等各种场景。
When you take your English test, after answering all the questions, go back and check your work.
英语考试的时候，题都做完以后，要回去检查。
Double check the problem and see if you can find where you made a mistake.

(2) Proofread 检查（作文、文章等）；校对
Make sure to proofread the paragraph you wrote for your English homework.
你写英语作业的时候，要检查一下你写的段落。
(3) Do reverse operations 验算
To check the problem, you can plug the answer into the problem and do reverse operations.
检查数学题的时候，你可以代入结果验算一下。
