接手烂摊子
inherit a mess
(1) inherit常表示“继承（遗产）”；也可以表示“接手，接过，承担（由别人造成的问题）”
(2) mess可以表示“脏乱，凌乱，乱糟糟”，即具体的“乱”，如房间、厨房等
也可以表示“混乱，麻烦，困境，一团糟，烂摊子”，即抽象的“乱”，如生活、经济等
